I was chatting with a friend a few days ago and we got to the subject of finding a job in these economic times and how the competition is so fierce. Wow, that is fierce with a capital F! The competition is so stiff that many people are applying for jobs they are way over qualified for. In the past, that would have worked but when you throw in hundreds of applicants for one single position…your resume drowns in a sea of over qualified, under paid desperate souls.
That is another reason why I love the industry of network marketing. NO RESUME REQUIRED!!!!! All that is really required is the desire to create your own destiny. No professional clothes to go buy, no interviews with sweaty palms and no waiting by the mailbox anticipating the thank you for applying, but…letter. Ok so writing a blog isn’t THAT scary! I have learned that every time I feel uncomfortable and take action anyway, I am growing as a person. I have been coached to celebrate being uncomfortable; to know that being outside my comfort zone is a good thing. Easy to say, hard to do!
